On April 18, 2022, the White Hall launched a practical session “Women’s Entrepreneurship – a global trend” within the framework of the International Scientific and Educational Forum “Systemic Transformation of Science, Education and Society” organized by the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, «Turan» University and the Council for Science at the N. Nazarbayev Foundation.
The objectives of the Practical session were to discuss the peculiarities of women’s entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan, the main reasons for starting a business, problems and stereotypes, directions of support for women’s entrepreneurship, etc.
Women’s entrepreneurship is a relatively new phenomenon for Kazakhstan, and its emergence was due not only to significant economic transformations in the country related to the development of the economy, but also to the socio–economic status of women. In this regard, the interest in this topic is very great.
At the Practical session, the participants noted that Women are distinguished by a higher level of consolidation and are primarily focused not on financial, but on legal and informational support of the state, on strengthening and improving the status of women’s entrepreneurship. Women tend to develop sustainable business strategies, conduct their business more responsibly and carefully.
Doctoral students, undergraduates and undergraduates and the teaching staff took an active part in the Practical Session and discussed the issues of the topic.
It is symbolic that the International Scientific and Educational Forum “Systemic Transformation of Science, Education and Society” has started its work with the theme of entrepreneurship development in Kazakhstan.
