Meeting of teachers and students of the department «Tourism and Service» with Dauren Valiev, author of the book «Beshparmak. Reflections of an engineer»

On April 26, a meeting with Dauren Valiev, who presented his book, took place in the library of Turan University. Dauren Valiev is an Almaty machine–building entrepreneur, manufacturer of the first Kazakh aircraft «Arai», reconstructor of engineering masterpieces of nomads – arba and composite bow, honorary graduate of the Kazakh National Technical University, founder of the Kazakhstan Tourism Association, member of the Tourism Committee of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Atameken». His book is an original excursion into the little–known history of nomadic civilization, where national cuisine unexpectedly acts as a reliable research tool.

The meeting with the author of the book stimulated interest in the history of the Kazakh people and pride in the great achievements of nomadic civilization.
