Climbing Turan Peak in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turan University

On August 28, teachers and students of the department «Tourism and Service», employees and volunteers of the Research Institute of Tourism climbed Turan Peak (3970 m., 1A k.s. in the northern spurs of the Ile-Alatau ridge, Northern Tien Shan) in honor of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Turan University (Almaty). The ascent was preceded by preparation, the participants underwent acclimatization in a mountain tent camp. During the anniversary events, they received certificates confirming the ascent.
