Internship in Italy for a student of the department «Tourism and Service»

From July 8 to September 30, 2023, Alexander Belousov, a 2nd-year student of the OP «Tourism», completed a professional internship. The internship took place on the basis of the four-star Riva Marina Resort hotel, belonging to the CDS hotels hotel chain, located on the southern coast of Italy.

YKI.study company helps students to apply for documents, pass an interview, and also organizes a basic Italian language course. Knowledge of which is a prerequisite for participation in the internship program, since up to 90% of the guests in most Italian resorts are Italians themselves.

The professional internship provides an opportunity to improve foreign language skills, get acquainted with the peculiarities of working in the service sector of another country, and join European culture. Depending on the level of foreign language proficiency, students can apply for different positions at the hotel. For example, an assistant cook or waiter, an animator, as well as a Reception employee.
