XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in the Educational Program “International Relations”

Within the framework of the approved events of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Higher School of International Relations and Diplomacy of Turan University holds the annual XVII Republican Student Subject Olympiad in the educational program “International Relations”.

🔎 Olympiad Topic: “Central Asian Countries in World Politics”

🎯 Olympiad Objective: Identification and support of talented students in the field of international relations, development of creative and analytical abilities, formation of intellectual potential, stimulation of interest in scientific and practical activities.

Working languages: Kazakh, Russian, English

📩 Application deadline: April 10, 2025

🎥 Sending a video business card by: April 25, 2025

Participation conditions:

• Team of up to 3 people for each language department (Kazakh, Russian, English)
• Maximum 3 teams from one university
• Participants of the previous Olympiad are not allowed (it is necessary to attach a list of participants and information about the leaders)

📌 Participation stages:

• Video business card (1.5–3 min): a brief presentation of the project and the team
  o Criteria: meaningfulness, originality
• Project defense: oral presentation
  o Criteria: relevance, innovation, uniqueness, practical significance
• Case analysis: oral defense by the captain

🏅 Awarding:

• 1 team – 1st place
• 2 teams – 2nd place
• 3 teams – 3rd place
