Academic Mobility

Turan University  (TU) supports the initiatives of the Bologna Process and acts in line with the regulations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and EHEA organizing staff and student mobility.

Turan University welcomes international students to apply on individual basis or under the agreement with their home universities and TU as free movers (non-degree students) or exchange students. This applies to foreign students who wish to to study in TU for one or two semesters.

Free movers or exchange students may apply for courses at Bachelor’s as well as Master’s levels. Therefore, we recommend that free mover applicants should have already completed at least two semesters of full time university studies, or hold a BA degree.

Free movers are not registered as regular university students and are not entitled to complete a university degree at Turan University. After their studies in TU, Free Mover students receive a transcript of records, but not a degree or a diploma.

Turan University regularly hosts an interesting and modern game on the issues of contemporary politics – “Model UN”! You have a great opportunity to take part in an international conference, meet interesting people and acquire useful skills!

The Model UN is an imitation of the United Nations, in which students, college and high school students, as delegates, reproduce the activities and work of various UN committees, as well as acquire diplomatic, leadership, oratory, language and compromise skills.

Participants act as delegates and official representatives who discuss topical issues of our time. Delegates must comply with the rules of diplomatic etiquette.
