Guest meeting: “Volunteers are changing the world”

On November 09, 2023, a guest meeting with Kazakh TV presenter, producer, volunteer, civil activist Adel Orazalinova (#Adelorazalinova), better known in social networks as Adele Smith, took place in the 506 auditorium at 10:00 am. The topic of the meeting was volunteering, namely, how volunteers change the world.

Adele is engaged in charity work on an ongoing basis. Her team – and this is the Amila charitable foundation for helping patients with oncological diseases, the PTO charity warehouse (the First Creative Association) and its partners are ready to help all those in need.

In general, a huge number of volunteers work in Almaty in the field of assistance to socially vulnerable segments of the population – absolutely free of charge, because their main goal is to provide support to those who really need it.

The meeting aroused great interest among the students, the guys asked a lot of questions, which Adele answered in detail and with pleasure.

The guest lecture was organized by the lecturer of the Department of Marketing and Logistics of the University Turan Kulik Ksenia Viktorovna.
