Logistics and Marketing 4.0: new trends, challenges, solutions

On April 16-17, 2024, the VI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Logistics of the Great Steppe” was held at Turan University. The theme of the conference is “Logistics and Marketing 4.0: new trends, challenges, solutions”. The conference was organized by the Department of Marketing and Logistics.

 

The conference was attended by researchers, scientists and specialists in the field of logistics, marketing, economics, management, representatives of business structures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CIS countries and far abroad, university professors of economics, doctoral students, undergraduates.

 

The purpose of the event was to form a set of solutions aimed at improving logistics processes, marketing and management that contribute to optimizing the resources of organizations in various sectors of the economy in the context of the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0).

 

The objectives of the event were as follows:

 

  • discussion of new trends, challenges and solutions in logistics and marketing in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0);
  • critical analysis of scientific results obtained by scientists representing various scientific schools in the field of marketing and logistics, economics and management;
  • discussion of applied issues of using new logistics and marketing technologies in enterprises.

 

The speakers’ presentations were held in the following areas: trends in the development of modern logistics, modern aspects of supply chain management, current trends in transportation and warehousing, new directions in marketing, digitalization and the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence).
