On May 12-13, 2025, the annual conference of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) University was held in Urumqi, and Turan University was officially invited as a new member of the organization. This achievement was made possible thanks to the significant support of Sichuan Pedagogical University, which recommended and substantiated Turan University’s membership in this organization. For Turan University, this is an important step towards joining the international educational community, opening new horizons for cooperation, academic exchange, and scientific research.
As a full-fledged member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Turan University gains a unique opportunity to actively participate in joint educational and scientific projects with leading universities of SCO countries, strengthening and expanding its international scientific and educational activities.
At the conference, in her presentation titled “Scientific and Innovative Ecosystem of Universities in Kazakhstan, Scientific Cooperation with Industrial Enterprises (Experience of Turan University),” Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Innovation, and Science – D.I. Razakova – spoke about the ecosystem of universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan using the example of Turan University. She presented the university’s educational programs and scientific achievements, emphasizing its commitment to internationalization and the integration of modern technologies into the educational process.
Turan University expresses its gratitude to Sichuan Pedagogical University for its support and recommendation, which enabled the university to become part of a large international educational network.
