On October 8, the opening of the ALTER EGO book club and the first meeting took place. At the past two meetings, two works were discussed: “1984” by George Orwell and “The Man Who Laughs” by Victor Hugo.
For the next discussion, the participants chose 2 books at once. These are “Morphine” by Mikhail Bulgakov and “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” Philip Dick.
Both works of radically different genres, “Morphine” – a story, “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?” – a science fiction, cyberpunk, dystopia. They were filmed, but what else do they have in common?
We invite you to the scientific hall of the library on 12th November 12 at 16:00
