Compulsory subjects:

  • Mathematical literacy
  • Reading proficiency
  • History of Kazakhstan

Major subjects:

Passing score for admission to the university:

  • at least 75 points in the field of education “Law” (at least 5 points in the History of Kazakhstan and specialized subjects and at least 3 points in Reading Literacy and Mathematical Literacy)
  • at least 50 points in other educational programs (at least 5 points in History of Kazakhstan and specialized subjects and at least 3 points in Reading Literacy and Mathematical Literacy)

On the creative exam

 

To be admitted to creative specialties, you need to pass two UNT subjects – the History of Kazakhstan and Reading proficiency. After that pass an exam of the university.

 

You can pass the UNT for all 5 subjects and come to enroll in creative specialties. But you must pass the exam in the university. We will count points of only two subjects and exams.

 

In total, you can score 125 points. The passing score for both paid and grant is at least 50.

 

Before the exam, there will be a consultation where you will be given information about the topics of essays and discussions. And the time of the exams will be announced.

 

The creative specialties include:

  • Public relations
  • Directing
  • Camerawork
  • Acting skills
  • Film and TV producing

How to apply for a state grant

To do this, you need to collect the necessary documents for admission, scan them and submit an electronic application through the testcenter.kz website. Or come with the documents to the admissions office, where our experts will help you step by step in registration. Then expect the results. The results are usually released in early August.

List of required documents:

  1. A document on secondary or higher education with supplement (original + copy).
  2. Certificate based on the results of passing the UNT.
  3. A copy of the identity card.
  4. Medical certificate form 075-u + fluorography image.
  5. Medical certificate form 063 (health passport).
  6. 6 photos 3×4.

Admission options:

The opportunity to study according to specially developed reduced programs for a period of 2 years of study is provided. It turns out that you are immediately enrolled in the 3rd year. You can choose a related educational program. You can check the list of related educational programs in the admissions committee.

The opportunity to study under reduced programs for a period of 3 years of study is provided. It turns out that you are immediately enrolled in the 2nd year. You can choose any related specialty. For example, after the specialty “Management” you can enroll in “Marketing”, “Management”, “Economics”, “World Economy”, “State and Local Administration”. You can check the list of related specialty in the admissions committee.

 

  • Entrance exam – essay

  • Full-time abbreviated department with the use of remote technologies
  • There is a full-time military department

If you change your specialty and enroll in an unrelated one, then the study period will be 4 years. The conditions are the same as for applicants after school.

When applying for a state grant (for a related educational program), the UNT (Unified national testing) takes place in an abbreviated format, you pass 2 specialized subjects.

 

The passing score for participation in the state grant competition is at least 25 points and at least 5 points for each subject.

What subjects need to be taken:

When applying for a related specialty, you do not need to take the UNT(Unified national testing). It will be necessary to write an essay on one of the proposed topics in the admissions committee of the university. The topic corresponds to the educational program you are applying for. The list of related specialties can be specified in the admissions committee.

 

When applying for an unrelated educational program, you need to pass the UNT(Unified national testing)  in 5 subjects and gain a passing score:

 

  • at least 75 points in the direction of education “Jurisprudence” (at least 5 points in each subject)
  • at least 50 points in other educational programs (at least 5 points in each subject)
  • at least 25 points (at least 5 points in each subject) for admission to the reduced form of education

When applying for a state grant (for a related educational program), the UNT (Unified national testing) takes place in an abbreviated format, you pass 2 specialized subjects.

What subjects need to be taken:

For foreign citizens, admission takes place on the basis of an interview with the admissions committee.

 

If a citizen of another country has graduated from school in Kazakhstan, then admission takes place according to the UNT.

 

The documents are accepted from June 1 to August 25.

List of documents:

  • Application (application form), filled in Russian with an attached colored photo;
  • Notarized copies of the document on education and its supplement (with a translation of the document on education and its supplement into the state or Russian language). The translation is certified by a notary on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • An identity document, a notarized copy of the document (with translation into the state or Russian languages). The translation is certified by a notary on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • A copy of the license and / or certificate of accreditation of the educational institution that issued the document on education;
  • Certificate of recognition and nostrification of educational documents
  • Health certificate No. 075 (HIV, malaria, fecal tests) All medical certificates are made on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Apostille of a college diploma (for holders of secondary special education)
  • Photo 3*4 — 6 pieces

 

Educational documents issued outside the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan undergo the nostrification procedure

When submitting an application for recognition and nostrification of educational documents, the following documents are attached to the PSC:
  • Application for recognition of educational documents;
  • Notarized copies of the document on education and its supplement (with the translation of the document on education and its supplement into the state or Russian language), the translation is certified by a notary on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • An identity document, a notarized copy of the document (with translation into the state or Russian languages), the translation is certified by a notary on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • A copy of the license and / or certificate of accreditation of the educational institution that issued the document on education;
  • A document certifying the identity of the authorized representative (for identification) and a document certifying the authority to represent- if representative of the recipient’s services applies;
  • Payment receipt.
