The victory of the students of the department «Tourism and Service» in the All-Russian competition for the best article

Students of the 4th year of the educational program «Restaurant business and hotel business» Veronika Makarova and Valeria Pak, took part in the St. Petersburg All-Russian conference «Kolpinsky readings: children’s and youth tourism and local history Forum» (April 2021), in November received diplomas of the III degree for winning the competition for the best article published in collections of materials. Their article was written based on the results of work in the framework of the course «Branding» (lector G. Fayzullina). Veronika and Valeria reviewed the situation with the tourist infrastructure in Kazakhstan in the field of catering. They conducted a survey on the popularity of donuts as one of the fast food products. According to the results of the survey, a hypothesis was put forward about the prospects of using food trucks as one of the tools for the development of the tourist potential in the Almaty region.
