On April 12, 2022, Turan University hosted a round table on “Prospects and implementation of sustainable development goals in Kazakhstan” organized by the Department of Regional Studies and international relations at the “Science Week” on the theme “Integration of Education, Science and business: innovations and development vectors”. The head of the Department PhD Tolen Zh.M. conducted the round table as a moderator; scientists, researchers, experts and students of the University attended the event.
At the round table PhD, leading researcher of the Institute for Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies of the CS MES RK N.I. Aitymbetov made a report on the topic “Transition of the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan to digital technologies”, expert of the Kazakhstan Center for Humanitarian and Political Conjuncture M.M. Nurov on the topic “Problems and prospects of teaching social and humanitarian disciplines: on example of cultural studies and political science”, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department K. U. Torlanbayeva on the topic “President’s Message on sustainable development of Kazakhstan”, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department Sh.А. Ishmukhamedov on the prospects of modern political reforms in Kazakhstan. PhD S.Sh. Yusupova shared the results of the ongoing scientific work on gender equality in the formation of a society based on civic principles, the history of the formation of a patriarchal society.
By the end of the round table, the students were involved in a scientific discussion and asked questions. As a result of the round table, a joint scientific resolution was adopted.
