YOUNG SCIENTISTS DISCUSSED TOPICAL ISSUES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN LEGAL SCIENCE

The Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies hosted the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists, doctoral students and undergraduates “Development of modern Legal Science: theory and practice”, dedicated to the Day of Science Workers.

 

The work was attended by domestic and foreign legal scholars, heads of departmental educational institutions, practicing lawyers, specialists in various branches of law.

 

The forum participants were welcomed by the first vice-rector of the Academy, Kaliolla Seitenov. Noting the role of modern science in the formation of the state, he stressed that science is the most important national resource. Science stands guard over state interests, helps to solve many global problems of the modern world. Each scientist makes an invaluable contribution to the future of the country with his work.

 

At the plenary session, foreign guests addressed the audience: Andrey Konev, Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Uygun Nigmajanov, Deputy Head of the Academy of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Uzbekistan, Dmitry Alekhin, Vice-Rector of the Moscow Academy of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexey Alekseev, Deputy Head of the Volgograd Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

 

Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan Elaman Aybuldinov, Chairman of the Council for Science at the N.A. Nazarbayev Foundation Ermek Toktarov made a welcoming speech from among the domestic representatives.

 

The discussion of the topic of the day took place in three panel sessions: “Theoretical and practical aspects of the application of criminal legislation”, “Theoretical and practical aspects of the application of criminal procedure legislation”, “State and prospects for the development of law enforcement practice of international, civil and administrative legislation”.

 

Well-known scientists and experts took part in the discussions. The report of Kirill Kamchatov, Head of the Department of the Research Institute of the University of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, devoted to the implementation of victims’ access to justice, aroused great interest.

 

The sections were attended by young scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia, Moldova and Uzbekistan.

 

The speakers touched upon topical issues of improving legislation and law enforcement practice, as well as international legal support for law enforcement activities.

 

Following the results of the conference, recommendations were developed for the further development of the research policy of law enforcement agencies, conducting fundamental and applied interdepartmental research. The results of the contest of scientific articles were also summed up within the framework of the forum.

 

The University “Turan” was represented by Associate Professor of the Department “Jurisprudence and International Law”, PhD Karlygash Asilkhanovna Dzhumabayeva and 1st-year master’s student of the specialty “Jurisprudence” Maksat Talgatovich Shegebayev.
