Internship of a graduate of the educational program “Restaurant business and hospitality” Gorbunov Timur

Timur Gorbunov, a 2022 graduate, gained experience by working from August 1, 2022 to October 19, 2022 on the MS Poseidon ship under the Work and ship program.

A year ago, Timur had experience working in an American hotel, this time he was able to go to Europe to conquer the rivers of the Netherlands. Working on the ship has its differences, there he saw the strong cohesion of the team while solving common problems. No wonder they say: “When everyone is in the same boat.” Timur in practice was able to try himself in the hotel business during the voyage. “The cabin service system is almost the same as on land with ordinary rooms,” says the graduate. Thanks to the past experience and theoretical knowledge of the restaurant business and hotel business obtained at Turan University, Timur felt more confident in working with guests and was also able to improve his language skills.

Advice for our students from Timur Gorbunov: “Try it, no matter what experience you get from it, negative or positive. In any case, you will be left with impressions!”.
