A literary evening «Shakhanov readings» dedicated to Mukhtar Shakhanov’s 80th birthday was held

On November 30, 2022, the «Shakhanov readings» event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh poet, public figure and national poet of Kyrgyzstan Mukhtar Shahanov was held at Turan University.

At the opening of the literary evening, acting head of the «Journalism and translation» department Kurmanbayeva Alma Aliyevna wished the participants success.

The event was attended by teachers of the department «Journalism and Translation» Zhagiparova Maira Musaevna, Auezova Elmira Zhanabilovna, Almish Zhadyra Talgatovna. Also, the event was attended by teachers of the department associate professor Tulekova G.Kh., senior lecturer Kenzhebekova G.Zh.

Active students of our university read M. Shakhanov’s poems and monologues, expressing their admiration and respect for the extraordinary personality of the poet, who is the national pride of our country.

They are 1st, 2nd, 3rd year students of «Journalism» specialty: Ernur Rysbai, Nazimov Merhat, Dildora Mamyrkhanova, Zhumash Gulayim, Akerke Kulbekova, Murat Zhanerke, Aliyeva Aruzhan, Nurtore Zhumagul, Kiyabaev Maulekhan, Zhylkibay Nuray and «State and local administration» Rakhymbay Magzhan, a 1st year student of the specialty.
