I International tournament in the direction of “Logistics and organization of cargo transportation” for colleges “USkills-up Logistics Battle”

On April 5, 2023, the Department of Marketing and Logistics of Turan University held the First International Tournament in the field of Logistics and organization of cargo transportation for colleges “USkills-up Logistics Battle”.

The tournament was established by the Kazakhstan Logistics Cluster and Turan University in order to support the development of colleges in teaching students in the field of logistics and identifying their potential. The tournament was held for students who want to apply their knowledge and skills in solving practical problems in the field of logistics, as well as to promote the profession of a logistics specialist. “USkills-up Logistics Battle” was held in full-time format and online interactive format (mixed format).

The expert support of the competition was conducted by logistics specialists, entrepreneurs, representatives of the Kazakhstan Marketing Association and business representatives.

The following teams took part in the tournament:

• “Team-Up” (Almaty College of Railway Transport), who took 1st place;
• “Stars” (Almaty State Polytechnic College), ranked 2nd;
• “Veni-Vidi-Vici” (Almaty College of Railway Transport), ranked 2nd;
• “Kyran” (Almaty State College of Transport and Communications), ranked 3rd;
• “Intellect” (Almaty State College of Transport and Communications), ranked 3rd;
• “Juniors” (Almaty State Polytechnic College), ranked 3rd.
