Foreign visiting professor Dr. Dababrata Chowdhury (UK) conducted classes for PhD students

From August 28 to September 11, 2023, PhD, Associate Professor Dababrata Narayan Chowdhury from Ravensbourne University London, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland visited Turan University. Dr. Dababrata is a partner of Turan University, he has many years of teaching experience at universities in the UK, Turkey, Kazakhstan, is an expert in management, business, IT, coaching, and has extensive experience in teaching, research and management.

From September 4 to 9, 2023, at Turan University, Dr. Chowdhury conducted a module of classes in the discipline “Research Methods” for PhD students. 11 PhD students of “Psychology”, “Jurisprudence”, “Economics”, “Management”, “Finance” educational programs took part in this module.

In addition, on September 8, 2023, Dr. Dababrata conducted a seminar for doctoral students on the topic “How to publish in International peer-reviewed journals”. During the seminar, participants had the opportunity to discuss the problems of publishing articles in international peer-reviewed journals, and study the features of preparing and submitting articles to international high-ranking publications. At the end of the seminar, all participants received certificates.

Dr. Chowdhury is a foreign scientific adviser to doctoral students in the Management educational program. During his stay in Kazakhstan, he met with his doctoral students and held a number of scientific consultations on the topics of their research. In addition, Dr. Choudhury met with the leadership of Turan University. During the meeting, there were discussed prospects for further cooperation.
