“The Best Teacher of a Higher Educational Institution”-2023

Regarding the competition for the best teacher of a higher educational institution

The Committee of Higher and Postgraduate Education announces the competition “The Best Teacher of a Higher Educational Institution” (hereinafter referred to as the Competition).

“The Rule on holding the competition “The Best Teacher of a Higher Educational Institution” (hereinafter referred to as the Rule) was approved by order of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 124 dated March 16, 2015. Holders of the title “The best scientific worker” for the past ten years do not participate in this competition.

To participate in the competition, candidates from among the full-time teachers of higher and (or) postgraduate educational organizations submit their documents through the Information System of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Please, appoint an administrator responsible for assisting teachers in the process of conducting explanatory work and submitting documents, as well as submit related information via the link (full name, IIN, telephone numbers, position) before October 6.

The first stage of the Competition will begin on November 1, 2023 and will last until November 10, 2023.

To participate in the first stage of the Competition, candidates from among full-time teachers of higher educational institutions submit the following documents through the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (universitycontest2023.iac.kz):

1. in accordance with Appendix 1 to these Rules, a sample application for participation in the competition for the title “The Best Teacher of a Higher Educational Institution”;
2. data on qualitative and quantitative indicators in accordance with Appendix 2 to these Rules (data for the last 5 years, with the exception of items with specific dates);
3. annual work schedule in accordance with Appendix 3 to these Rules;
4. personnel record sheet;
5. a copy of an identity card;

Reception of appeals for the first stage of the Competition will take place from November 11 to 15.

The second stage of the Competition will begin on November 17, 2023 and will last until December 15, 2023.

In addition, instructions for using the information system of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be published on the website Universitycontest2023.iac.kz.
