The authors of the Higher school of International Relations and Diplomacy, represented by Associate Professor, candidate of political science Samay Alina Diasovna and senior lecturer, master of social sciences Rakhmatulina Dilyara Miratovna, have published the study guide «Fundamentals of Regional Studies».

The presented study guide contains educational materials on the fundamentals of the science of the patterns of formation and development of integral territorial entities, introductory specialized terminology and approaches to the study of regions of the world. Particular attention is paid to the theoretical problems of globalization and regionalization as the main trends in world development. The content of the textbook reveals the specifics of ethnopolitical, cultural, religious and socio-economic processes taking place in modern regions of the world. Particular attention is paid to the integration processes of the Central Asian countries.
