Open Day for the students of the college of the “Turan” University on the specialty “Tourism”: “Dreams, career, success and how to achieve it”

On November 12, 2024 was held an open day for students of the college of the “Turan” University on the theme “Dreams, career, success and how to achieve it”. The event included a meeting with successful graduates of the university: Irina Sokolova, project manager of tourism, tour guide (EP “Tourism”) and Timur Gorbunov, coffee shop administrator (EP “RB&H”). They shared their experiences and talked about how studying at the university helped them to achieve success in their careers.

M.A. Mussayev, a lecturer of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality, gave a master class on working with reservation and booking systems (Sabre, R-Keeper, Shelter). Senior-lecturer A.V. Velichko conducted a quiz, the winners of which received memorable prizes. Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Law Gulzhan Yerubayeva, Director of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality Gaukhar Shiderina and employees of Department of Marketing and Admissions addressed the students. They told about the possibility of admission to such educational programs as “Tourism”, “Restaurant business and Hospitality” and “Tourism and hospitality innovation management”.
