Within the framework of the educational programs “Tourism” and “Restaurant and Hotel Business”, students had a unique opportunity to participate in a guest lecture organized jointly with leading industry experts. The lecturer was Alina Yalkunzhanovna, a graduate of Turan University, a master of psychology and an HR specialist, who shared her knowledge and experience related to resume preparation and interviews with future industry professionals.
During the guest lecture, students received practical recommendations on how to create an effective resume and rules of conduct for themselves at the interview. The guest lecturer noted the importance of non-verbal and paraverbal elements used in interviews.
Also, at the end of the lecture, the HR specialist sorted out several resumes of students and pointed out mistakes to them and gave specific recommendations.
The guest lecture was held at the class of a teacher of the Higher School of Economics TaH Burkitbay Assel within the framework of the discipline – Intercultural communications in the service sector.
