Kazakhstan and Kazakhstanis in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

On February 28, 2025, the Higher School of international relations and diplomacy held the International Student scientific and practical conference “Kazakhstan and Kazakhstanis in the Great Patriotic War” at Turan University dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The purpose of the conference is to form knowledge about the Great Patriotic War among students, master’s students, doctoral students and perpetuate the memory of the feat of the peoples, teach the younger generation to love and defend the Motherland. To educate young people as responsible citizens who respect their country and land, teach them to bow before heroic deeds, to be brave and courageous, to bow before the spirit of their ancestors, to believe in victory.

The conference was attended by students from universities in Almaty: Turan University, Kazakh NU named after al-Farabi, Kazakh University of international relations and world languages ​​named after Ablai Khan, Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, International educational corporation “Kazakh-American University”, Non-governmental educational private institution of higher education “Higher School of Management” (Moscow), Volgograd State University (Volgograd).
