Faculty members of the school of information technology completed an online professional development course on artificial intelligence

Faculty members of the School of Information Technology – Baitenova L.M., Mambetov S.T., Belgіnova S.A., Kim Ye.R., Mamyrоva A.K., and Bimoldina Zh.A. – successfully completed an online professional development course titled “Artificial Intelligence in Education: A Practical Course for Educators.”.

 

The program aimed to equip educators with modern tools of artificial intelligence (AI) and neural networks to enhance the efficiency, personalization, adaptation, and digitalization of the educational process while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

 

 

During the course, participants mastered:

 

  • the basics of AI and neural networks in the context of education;
  • the use of AI for creating curricula, lesson plans, and didactic materials;
  • generation of visual and audio content using AI tools such as Midjourney, Elevenlabs, Dubverse, Krea, and others;
  • development of chatbots to support the educational process (including Character.ai);
  • analysis of educational data using ChatGPT and Data Analyst;
  • The best international practices in AI integration in education.

 

The program consisted of 10 modules and included independent work through a personal online account with access to video lectures, presentations, and hands-on workshops. Upon completion of the course, the faculty members developed individual educational projects utilizing AI technologies.
