On April 17, 2025, Turan University hosted a meeting and signing ceremony for a memorandum of cooperation with Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Present at the event were the Vice Chancellor of UNIMAS, Professor Ahmad Hata Rasit; the Director‑General of the UNIMAS Business School, Professor Pua Chin Hong; the Director of International Affairs at UNIMAS Global, Tian Fung Fatt; and the Executive Director of the Vice Chancellor’s Office, Mohd Husaini Nurdjaya Chu.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of cooperation in education and scientific research, the implementation of joint educational projects and professional training programs, and prospects for academic mobility and student exchange.
Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is a public, non‑profit institution of higher learning. UNIMAS is located in Kuching, Malaysia, and is one of the youngest universities in the country.
