III case championship – financial literacy competition “Finatlon”
The Higher School of Finance and Accounting of Turan University, in collaboration with the Department of Social Projects and Financial Literacy Promotion of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, announces the successful completion of the III Case Championship “Finatlon” among college students of Almaty city!
The final stage took place on April 25, 2025, bringing together many talented participants who demonstrated their skills in solving complex business cases.
More than 30 teams from various colleges in the city participated in the qualifying round, with 12 teams advancing to the second round.
Participants competed in financial literacy knowledge, speed of thinking, creativity, ability to identify signs of financial fraud, and offering innovative solutions for real business cases.
Based on the decision of the competent jury, the following prize winners were determined:
- 1st place – “Absolute” team from the UIB Multiprofile College;
- 2nd place – “Қазына” team from Narxoz University Economic College and “Profit Prophets” team from the Turan University College;
- 3rd place – “Business Ledies” team from the Almaty State Business College, “N-Future” team from Narxoz University Economic College, and “Қаржылық элита” (“Financial Elite”) team from the Almaty Economic College.
All participants received certificates and valuable prizes from partner companies.
The “Finatlon” Championship once again confirmed its reputation as an excellent platform for sharing knowledge and experience among college students.
