Competitive selection for an educational grant from KAZENERGY

Acceptance and registration of documents for admission to participate in the competition is carried out from July 25 to August 31 this year. An electronic application must be completed on the website within the time limits specified above.

 

 

Terms of participation in the competition*:

  • citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
  • Unconditional enrollment or study at an educational institution (if the student has no financial debt).
  • compliance of academic performance with the following indicators:
  • UNT certificate with 80 points or more (out of a maximum of 140 points);

 

 

For educational programs that require creative training according to the List of specialties and qualifications of technical and vocational, post-secondary education, training areas with higher and postgraduate education:

  • UNT certificate with 15 points or more (out of a maximum of 30 points), and at least 65 points based on the results of the creative exam (out of a maximum of 100 points);

 

 

For those who have enrolled in educational programs providing for shorter periods of study or in a specialized master’s degree:

  • UNT certificate with 40 points or more (out of a maximum of 70 points);

 

 

For persons enrolled in the scientific and pedagogical master’s degree:

  • CT certificate with 90 points or more (out of a maximum of 150 points);
  • the average academic achievement score of the candidate for the diploma is at least 4.0 (out of 5.0) for persons enrolled in the 1st (first) year of bachelor’s degree;
  • GPA of at least 3.0 (B) for candidates who have completed the 1st (first) Bachelor’s degree course;
  • GPA of at least 3.33 (B+)** for candidates who have completed their studies in 2-3 (second, third) bachelor’s degree courses;

 

 

GPA of at least 3.33 (B+)** for candidates enrolled in all postgraduate education courses; List of required documents:

  • A copy of the identity card/birth certificate;
  • A copy of the document confirming the receipt of previous education;
  • Documentary evidence of one (or several) of these categories, if any: a large, low-income or incomplete family, orphaned children, a person with a disability.
  • A certificate of enrollment/ training (indicating: the cost of tuition for 1 (one) academic year for payment by legal entities, the course and form of study, and the absence of financial debt) with a signature (on official letterhead or stamped by the educational institution).
