Take the SAT in Almaty in Turan

Please note, starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, SAT can now be taken 8 times a year (see test dates here). Briefly important information for those taking the SAT at Turan University in Almaty:

• registration for the test is on the collegeboard.org website;
• our test center in Almaty is called Turan U 60196;
• if you have problems with payment, check the restrictions on online purchases, update your browser or turn on the VPN application;
• download the Bluebook application to your device and 1-5 days before the test date go through the exam set up – they will generate your admission ticket;
• on the test day, you must come at 7:45 am Almaty time (UTC+5 time zone) to the address: Almaty, 16A Satpayev Street;
• you must have the original passport / ID card (copy, photo, scan, electronic version or birth certificate are not accepted);
• you must have an admission ticket, printed or electronic;
• you must have your own device to take the test (laptop, tablet, except Chromebook); if you are unable to bring your laptop, you need to contact a.almuratova@turan-edu.kz to reserve a place in a computer room on the test day at Turan University; or when registering, apply for a loaned device on collegeboard.org 30 days before the test date;
• you cannot use mobile phones, bluetooth headsets, wireless earphones and other gadgets, except for the testing device for taking the test;
• you can take a light snack and drink and an approved calculator.
