Meeting of the Rector with the Prize-Winners of the Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan – 2025

On August 21, 2025, Turan University hosted a ceremonial meeting of the Rector with the winners and prize-winners of the Summer Universiade of the Republic of Kazakhstan 2025. The event took place in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, aimed at recognizing the achievements of students who honorably represented the university at the national sports level.

Rector of the university, Rakhman Alshanov, expressed his gratitude to the students for their willpower, perseverance, and dedication to sports. He emphasized that the athletic successes of the students not only strengthen the university’s image but also set a positive example for the younger generation.

The following students were recognized at the meeting:

1. Nurlykhan Daulet, 4th-year student of Law – bronze medalist in Greco-Roman wrestling;
2. Tilek Beknar, 1st-year student of Law – bronze medalist in boxing;
3. Zhaksybek Azamat, 1st-year student of Logistics – silver medalist in boxing.

The second group of Universiade participants represented the university in futsal, boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling and freestyle wrestling.
