On September 27, students, graduate students, and faculty members of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality celebrated World Tourism Day at the OOK “Tau Turan” recreation base. This event, traditionally organized for first-year students, is aimed at fostering team spirit, helping freshmen integrate into university life, and shaping the professional values of future tourism specialists.
The program featured teambuilding and group activities, sports stages where participants demonstrated skills acquired during their studies, an engaging tourism-themed quiz, and a friendly tea gathering.
The event was organized by the faculty members of the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality: Mukhamedali Akhmetzhanovich Musaev, Alexander Alisherovich Ergeshov, Bakhytgul Maratovna Demeuova, Gulzhan Bauyrzhanqyzy Bekakhmet, Mansur Zunumovich Alimov, Meruert Ismagul, and Azamat Nurgogayev. Active contributions to the preparation were made by students and graduate students: Temirlan Sanauarov (2nd-year Master’s student), Mohammad Mari (RBH, 4th year), Zamanbek Ayana (“Tourism,” 3rd year), Nizametdinova Nigara (IMTH, 3rd year), Belousov Alexander, Gabbasova Tomiris (“Tourism,” 4th year), Kalinina Viktoria, Sailaukhanova Sabina, and Ilakhunova Guzal (“Tourism,” 2nd year). Thanks to their efforts, a rich and exciting program was created, including team-building stages and sports activities.
Celebrating World Tourism Day outdoors became a bright and memorable event for all participants, strengthened team spirit, and highlighted the importance of tourism as both a lifestyle and a professional choice.
