Field lesson for students of the educational programs «Tourism» and «Restaurant and Hotel Management»

As part of the study of the disciplines «Local History and Museum Studies» and «Event Management», as well as within the framework of advisor activities, 3rd-year students of the educational programs «Tourism» and «Restaurant business and Hospitality» visited the Issyk State Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum and Lake Issyk under the guidance of lecturers Galiya Shauketovna Faizullina and Gulzhan Bauyrzhanqyzy Bekakhmet.

On October 11, 2025, during the excursion to the museum, students learned about the historical and cultural heritage of the region, the exhibition dedicated to the «Golden Man», and explored the specifics of museum work and cultural heritage preservation.

The practical part of the session focused on studying and observing the organization of tourism and cultural events. Students also conducted an analysis of approaches to promoting the cultural and natural potential of this tourist destination. In addition, advisor hours were held with discussions on current student life issues.

Such field lessons help students develop practical competencies, broaden their professional horizons, and strengthen their interest in exploring Kazakhstan’s cultural heritage.
