International AV & Media Central Asia 2025 Conference and Exhibition at the Turan Film Academy

On October 2-3, 2025, Turan University and the Turan Film Academy hosted the international conference and exhibition AV & Media Central Asia 2025, dedicated to audiovisual technologies and media innovations. The event brought together representatives of the academic community, media industry professionals, educators students, and developers of new technologies.

Leading international and regional experts – including Klaus-Jörg Jasper (Lawo GmbH), Max Popov (Evertz), Timur Yusupov and Andrey Zain (Synamedia), Oleg Kungurov (technical broadcast producer), Ainur Zhagiparova (Tract Asia), and Alexander Nuzhny (Artparovoz) delivered insightful presentations On contemporary trends in media production and IP-based solutions.

A key highlight of the conferencewas the roundtable discussion on “The Needs of EngineeringEducation in the Media Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asian Countries”, which gathered representatives from universities, as well as film, television, and digital media companies. The conference concluded with a summary session and a presentation of diplomas to participants, reaffirming its significance as a major platform for advancing the audiovisual sector in the region
