Conference and Remote Presentation Contest for Marketer’s Day

On October 24, 2025, the Kazakhstan Marketing Association (KMA), the Higher School of Marketing and Logistics at Turan University and Turan College celebrated the professional holiday Marketer’s Day, which included scientific events: the conference “Marketing We Create” and the correspondence competition of presentations “The Modern Marketer: What He Should Be Like.”

 

The conference is a platform for constructive dialogue between speakers and all participants, discussions, debates on current marketing issues, exchange of opinions, knowledge, and experience and obtaining new interesting and useful information.

 

The aim of the presentation competition is to promote the development of students’ professional knowledge and creative thinking in the field of marketing, to identify and support talented and proactive participants and to form an understanding of the modern requirements for the marketing profession in a rapidly changing business environment.

 

The conference was held offline in the auditorium of Turan University, while the correspondence competition of presentations was held online among high school seniors and college graduates in Almaty.

 

The events were sponsored by GT Machinery LLP and the Representative Office of Seb-Vostok Group CJSC.

 

The conference was opened by Razakova D.I., Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science, and Innovation at Turan University, PhD in Economics, and Baimagambetova H.V., Director of Turan College. The moderator was Mukhamedkarimova A.M., Executive Director of KAM.

 

Practicing marketing specialists and executives from leading Kazakhstani companies spoke at the conference. All of the speakers’ presentations were very interesting and informative, with colorful and attractive slideshows. Current issues and modern trends in marketing were discussed, and valuable and useful practical experience was shared.

 

All speakers were presented with letters of appreciation and souvenirs bearing the Turan University logo for their participation in the conference. The winners of the correspondence presentation competition were awarded first, second, and third place diplomas and valuable prizes.

 

In addition, prizes were raffled off among conference participants. Yandex awarded the winner with a valuable gift – an Alice smart speaker; while students who asked the most interesting questions received books on marketing. For the first time among Kazakhstani universities, the Tesla Art Lab marketing and sales team installed special equipment in the lobby of Turan University, using artificial intelligence technology to photograph everyone who wanted to be photographed in a specified format and take instant pictures.
