Guest lecture by candidate of philosophy, docent V.V. Mikhailova (Yakutia), for students of the «International Relations» and «Regional Studies» programs

On October 28, 2025, as part of the “Diplomat Club” guest lectures at ‘Turan’ university, Viktoria Vlasyevna Mikhailova, candidate of philosophy, docent, and research fellow at the Yu.N. Stolyarov reading research Institute of the National Library of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), held a meeting on the topic “The Arctic in the Age of global challenges”.

Viktoria Vlasyevna discussed key aspects of the philosophical and sociocultural understanding of the Arctic, as well as its role in contemporary geopolitical and environmental processes.

The event generated great interest among students and teachers and provided a platform for meaningful discussion. The meeting facilitated the exchange of relevant and informative information about the Arctic region in international relations and global politics.
