Practice in mastering the profession. Educational program «Tourism»

In the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, within the framework of the discipline «Local History and Museology» (lecturer, Ph.D. Faizullina G.Sh.), third-year students of the educational program «Tourism» visited 10 museums of the city, 3 natural sites, and got acquainted with the architectural pride of Almaty – buildings in the modernist style.

At the same time, these were not idle walks, but there was a purposeful formation of a professional view of the cultural and educational recreational potential of the city.

The students recorded their knowledge and impressions in their sketchbooks. Handwritten notes allow, firstly, to consolidate knowledge, and secondly, they distract from the now popular artificial intelligence. In addition, at one of the classes, students got acquainted with the interactive exhibition «It is possible to be different». At the end of the course, collages, tourist maps and city guides became the language of expression.
