Guest Lecture by Majilis Deputy Unzila Shapak at the Higher School of Law

On December 5, 2025, the Higher School of Law at Turan University hosted a guest lecture by Unzila Shapak, Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Member of the Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reform, Doctor of Law, and Professor. The topic of the lecture was “Current Issues of Legal Reforms in Our Country.”The lecturer discussed a wide range of issues and prospects for the development of legal reforms, paying special attention to the parliamentary model proposed by the President. The lecture was held in a hybrid format and brought together students, master’s and doctoral students, as well as the faculty of the Higher School of Law. The event was moderated by the Director of the Higher School of Law, PhD Karlygash Dzhumabaeva, and Associate Professor Farkhiya Momysheva. The Higher School of Law expresses its gratitude to Unzila Shapak for an informative and engaging lecture, which made a significant contribution to the formation of legal culture among young people and provided students with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the main directions of legal modernization in Kazakhstan.
