Guest lecture: the role of the bar in ensuring fair justice

On November 25, 2025, the Higher School of Law at Turan University hosted a guest lecture on “The Role of the Bar in Ensuring Fair Justice.”

The speakers were Arman Zhumashovich Sharipov, a lawyer at the Almaty Regional Bar Association, and Saken Turganuly Makhyshev, Chairman of the Almaty Regional Bar Association.

During the session, the specialists discussed the importance of the bar in protecting citizens’ rights, the specifics of legal practice, and the modern challenges facing legal professionals in Kazakhstan. Students of the “Jurisprudence” program had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss real cases from professional practice.

The event was moderated by Associate Professor of the Higher School of Law and Candidate of Legal Sciences, K.A. Bekov.
