Among the most significant achievements of the concluding year are the results of the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025 and the QS WORLD University Rankings Asia 2026.
Currently, there are approximately 32,000 universities worldwide, including about 17,000 universities in Asia and 430 universities in Central Asia, with a total student population of 1.8 million in the region. According to the 2025 results, Turan University was ranked in the 1001–1500 band in its first participation among 32,000 higher education institutions worldwide. In particular, the University achieved the following positions by indicators: Decent Work – 401–600,
Strong Institutions – 601–800, Quality Education –1000–1500.
In the QS WORLD UNIVERSITY RANKINGS ASIA 2026, Turan University was placed in the 1001–1100 range among 16,600 Asian universities. Within the QS Asia 2026: Central Asia sub-ranking, the University ranked 59th out of 430 universities in the region.
Within national rankings, Turan University offers a total of 65 educational programs, including: BACHELOR’S DEGREE PROGRAMS – 29, MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS – 29, DOCTORAL PROGRAMS – 7.
According to the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, 15 educational programs of Turan University were included in the Top 10 nationwide.
In the NAAR National Ranking of Demand for Higher Education Institutions (2025), Turan University ranked 6th among universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the General Top-20 National University Ranking, the University also secured 6th place.
According to the IAAR Institutional Ranking, Turan University achieved: 1st place in the institutional ranking of universities offering doctoral programs in the fields of BUSINESS, MANAGEMENT, AND LAW;

In 2025, THE NATIONAL AGENCY FOR ACCREDITATION AND RATING (NAAR) ACCREDITED:
Turan University was awarded the NATIONAL BUSINESS RATING “QUALITY STAR”, receiving the title “Best Enterprise of the Country by Financial and Economic Indicators – 2025.”
The University’s Automated Management System (AMS) includes 176 digital catalogs, while the TURAN Electronic Library contains 65.3 thousand documents, including 16.7 thousand educational publications.
Under the AI-Sana Innovation Program, Turan University received 500 free licenses from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for 2025. Through the Turan & Coursera partnership, students and faculty completed courses such as “Generative AI for Everyone” and “Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT.”
