“Mister and Miss Turan – 2025”
On December 19, 2025, one of the most anticipated and vibrant student events of the year “Mr. and Miss Turan – 2025” took place in the assembly hall of Turan University. The evening became a true celebration of beauty, intelligence, artistry, and teamwork, bringing together students, faculty members, guests, and esteemed partners of the university.
The theme of the evening was Oscar-winning films.
This year, the organizers chose a special concept inspired by legendary movies that have received Academy Awards. The contestants not only transformed into iconic cinematic characters, but also conveyed the atmosphere, character, and philosophy of each film through dance, movement, emotion, and stage performance.
Preparation for the competition lasted one and a half months. During this time, participants worked intensively on runway walks, choreography, acting skills, and creative assignments, demonstrating a high level of responsibility and a strong drive for excellence.

The first appearance became the contestants’ calling card. Each pair demonstrated confidence, style, and the results of their month-and-a-half preparation. - Group hip-hop dance
A dynamic and modern performance united all contestants on one stage, showcasing their sense of rhythm, team spirit, and energy. - Fashion showcase (creative assignment)
Participants presented self-designed looks, emphasizing individuality and alignment with the chosen film theme. - Creative performances based on films

Each performance became a small theatrical production filled with emotion, music, and deep meaning.
Final walk
The concluding highlight of the evening was the contestants’ appearance in evening gowns and tuxedos, symbolizing elegance, maturity, and the ceremonial significance of the moment.
One of the warmest aspects of the evening was the enthusiastic support from the audience. Faculty members, friends, groupmates, and family came to support the contestants, creating a unique atmosphere of unity, inspiration, and sincere emotion.

Another important highlight of the evening was the announcement of the grand prize. On the initiative and with the support of the Rector of Turan University, Alshanov Rakhman Alshanovich, the winners of the “Mr. and Miss Turan – 2025” competition were awarded a modern and valuable gift an iPhone 16 smartphone. This prize became not only a pleasant surprise, but also a symbol of recognition of their hard work, determination, and bright contribution to student life at the university.
The “Mr. and Miss Turan – 2025” competition was not merely a contest, but a true cultural event that left warm memories and deep impressions on all participants and spectators.
