How It Went: A Meeting with Kseniya Akhmedina

ALMATY, January 21, 2026 — The first meeting of the Marketers Club “Marketing Wednesday” in 2026 took place at Turan University, hosted by the Kazakhstan Marketing Association.

The meeting focused on one of the most complex and in-demand practical topics: “Marketing in the Language of Business: Production, Sales, Margin.”

The speaker of the event was Kseniya Akhmedina, Director of Investment Projects at Qunar Creative (ex Aitas, FreedomPay). Kseniya works at the intersection of marketing, sales, production, and finance, and has hands-on experience in FMCG and manufacturing projects.

During her presentation, the speaker shared real-world cases of organizing marketing in manufacturing environments, spoke openly about mistakes made by marketing teams, and addressed the challenges of planning under conditions of seasonal demand and force majeure situations, including border closures. Special attention was given to sales channel prioritization, as well as the automation of marketing and analytical processes.

Participants actively engaged in discussion, asking questions related both to products and business processes — from value proposition development and demand forecasting to data collection and analytics automation.

The Marketers Club brings together practicing professionals, students, and lecturers of marketing disciplines from universities and colleges across the city, as well as everyone interested in marketing and business development, including HR specialists, entrepreneurs, and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. In an atmosphere of trust and professional exchange, participants share cases, discuss real working situations, and explore topics that are rarely brought to large conference stages. This openness and practical focus are what make the Club’s meetings especially valuable.
