Trends and Technologies in the Development of Future Crime

A guest lecture on the topic “Trends and Technologies in the Development of Future Crime” was held at the Higher School of Law of Turan University. The event took place in the format of an expert discussion and was organized for undergraduate and graduate students.

The speaker was Doctor of Law, Professor, Chief Researcher at the Research Institute of Economic and Legal Studies of Karaganda University, and Senior Researcher at the Center for the Study of Operational and Investigative Activities of the Research Institute of the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Sametovich Labbayev. The event was moderated by Professor Talgat Kurmanovich Akimzhanov, Director of the Research Institute of Law of Turan University.

During the lecture, current trends in the development of crime, the impact of digital technologies, and contemporary challenges in countering criminal activities were examined.
