Round table on constitutional reform held at the Higher School of Law of Turan University

On February 19, 2026, a round table discussion titled “Constitutional Reform: Issues and Prospects of Constitutional Development” was held at the Higher School of Law of Turan University. The event was organized by the Higher School of Law of Turan University, the Research Institute of Law at Turan University, the Research Institute of Public Law of Caspian University, as well as the Institute of Legislation and Legal Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the session, participants discussed current issues related to the improvement of constitutional legislation, key directions for reforming the state and legal system, and institutional changes in the context of the contemporary stage of development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Special attention was given to the practical aspects of implementing constitutional novelties and their impact on law enforcement practice. The round table brought together representatives of the academic community, experts in constitutional law, practicing lawyers, and students, serving as an effective platform for professional dialogue and exchange of views.
