Turan University to Host the 12th International EMI Entrepreneurship & Social Sciences Congress
From 10 to 12 June 2026, Turan University in Almaty, Kazakhstan, will host the 12th International EMI Entrepreneurship & Social Sciences Congress. The Congress serves as a distinguished international academic platform for discussing current issues in entrepreneurship, economics, management, education, and social sciences.
As of June 2026, the Congress has accepted 225 research papers prepared by 283 scholars and researchers representing 131 institutions.
Participants will come from 27 countries, including Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Georgia, Norway, Pakistan, Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Korea, Uganda, Bangladesh, Argentina, Brazil, India, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Malta, New Zealand, Iran, Lebanon, and Senegal.
Since its establishment in 2018, the EMI Congress has become a recognized international platform for academic exchange and scientific collaboration. Previous congresses have been held in Türkiye, Cyprus, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Uzbekistan, Romania, and Kazakhstan.
Over the years, the EMI Congress has featured 2,345 research papers prepared by 3,755 scholars and researchers from around the world, demonstrating its growing international reputation and academic impact.
Hosting the 12th International EMI Congress in Kazakhstan will contribute to strengthening international scientific cooperation, expanding academic partnerships, promoting the exchange of advanced research and best practices, and enhancing the global visibility of Kazakhstan’s higher and postgraduate education institutions.
