Round table on “Perspectives of tourism development in Almaty”

On the eve of the World Day of Tourism, the Department “Tourism and Service” University “Turan” organized a roundtable. Welcoming remarks were made by the Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and Innovation Dr., Professor Gulnar Nurmukhanova.

The round table was attended by the teaching staff of the department, the students of the educational program “Tourism”, as well as invited guests: Igor Britchenko, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Academician of Economic Sciences of Ukraine with the report “The prospects of educational and scientific tourism in Almaty” and chief specialist of the Department of tourism promotion “Tourism Authority of Almaty” Dilara Izenai with the theme of “About the medical tourism promotion in the context of general development of tourism of Almaty”.

During the event, there was an exchange of views on topical issues of tourism industry development in the southern capital and its role in the formation of the economy of the city.
