Opening of the book club “ALTER EGO”

WE ANNOUNCE THE OPENING OF THE “ALTER EGO” BOOK CLUB.

We invite all students to the library on October 8th at 16.00. At the meeting we will discuss George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984”.

Meetings of the book club “Alter Ego” will be held every two weeks, together with the intellectual club “Genius Turan” (@genius.turan).

We meet and discuss books, answering 3 questions:

1. your impression of the book you read
2. what is the message of the book?
3. recommend/ DO NOT recommend

The books will be selected as follows:

• everyone offers their own option, the book is determined by the results of voting on Instagram
• the “free microphone” principle applies at meetings

The participant gets:

• community of interests/community of like-minded people
• public speaking skills
• reading a variety of literature, memorizing what you read through discussion
• participation in library projects

And also, we plan to hold thematic meetings, meetings with creative people, recording podcasts with the most active participants.
