The opening of an international debate and research center took place at “Turan” University

Under the auspices of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the support of the REMC for AE of the MES RK an international debate and research center was opened at “Turan” University.

The opening ceremony began with the cutting of the ribbon and the presentation of the activities of the center.

Sher R. P, Director of the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Additional Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Aitpayeva Zh. Zh., Director of the center “Daryn” in Almaty were honourable guests of the event.

The purpose of opening the center is to create a competitive debate community in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The center will become a platform for holding debate, intellectual tournaments for schoolchildren, college students and students in English, training teachers fordevelopment of debate techniques, courses for schoolchildren and students on debates in English, for interacting with international debate communities.
