Debate tournament at the “Turan” University

On November 13-14, 2021 at the “Turan” University was organized the city debate tournament, which was attended by 68 teams. The organizers of the tournament were IDC “Sirius” and Almaty Debate Center.

The finalists were «Kimepian Twix» consisting of Nametchayeva Inkar and Amirkhan Arsen (KIMEP).

The «Umai» team consisting of Dalida Kalandarova and Janelle Sarieva took the second place.

The «Polytech 2» team consisting of Seitmurat Dana and Dairbekova Zarina (Satbayev University) took the third place.

The winners of the tournament were the team “Travish $cot” from the «Panem» Debate club (SDU) consisting of Amina Akmurzina and Tolegen Sai.

The best speakers of the tournament were Aitkali Tleuzhan from the «Polytech 3» team (Satbayev University) and Komova Milana Ilinichna from the «Indian Tea” team (165th Lyceum).

The best judges are Jasmina Saruar (KIMEP), Almas Mogpoz (KazNU) and Dayana Toyanova (KIMEP).
