Round table discussion on 10 December 2021 “DEVELOPMENT OF MOUNTAIN TOURISM IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN: PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS”
Organizers: Research Institute of Tourism of “Turan” University, Department “Tourism and Service”.
The purpose – to initiate discussion on problems and prospects of mountain tourism development in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the event the exchange of opinions on topical issues of mountain tourism development in the Republic of Kazakhstan and its role in the improvement of social and economic sphere of the state is planned.
The round table programme includes the following speeches –
- Vukolov Vladimir Nikolaevich, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor, master of sports of international class in sports tourism, director of Scientific-research Institute of tourism “Turan” university;
- Aleksey Eduardovich Yaroshevskiy, First Vice President of the International Federation of Sports Tourism (Moscow, Russia), Master of Sports in Mountain Tourism of the USSR;
- Elena Anatolievna Kalashnikova, Director of Aksai Travel Company (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), Master of Sports in Mountaineering, USSR;
- Vyacheslav Arsentyevich Litvinov, president of the Federation of Mountaineering, Climbing and Ice Climbing of East Kazakhstan region, candidate master of sports in mountain tourism;
- Yerkebulan Khasenov, head of the United project office of the Almaty mountain cluster, director of representative office of JSC “NC Tourism” in Almaty;
- Imangaliev Temirlan Oktanovich – Master of Science, Senior Lecturer of Department “Tourism and Service”, Turan University.
Organizers: Research Institute of Tourism of “Turan” University, Department “Tourism and Service”.
The participants had an opportunity to listen to online (14 people) /offline (21 people) interesting lectures, which touched upon problematic issues. At the end of the round table a resolution was adopted.
