Students and teachers of the department «Tourism and Service» got acquainted with the conditions for obtaining certificates confirming the professional skills of future specialists in the service sector. A graduate of Turan University in the educational programs «Tourism» and «Restaurant and Hotel Business» will have a diploma of higher education in his hands, indicating his readiness to realize his career dreams. In addition, he has the opportunity to confirm his skills and abilities with certificates, which will increase his competitiveness in the labor market. The decision to issue a certificate is made by a qualification commission of experts and employers.

The Certification Center of KTA and KAHR was opened in 2013 under the ALE «Kazakhstan Tourism Association» (KTA) and «Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants» (KAHR), included in the Register of Certification Centers of NCE «Atameken». Market representatives have been trained and have certificates of expert auditors for personnel certification from the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology (CTRM). The Center is accredited by the National Accreditation Center under the CTRM of the RK for compliance with GOST ISO/IEC 17024-2014 as a personnel conformity assessment body.
