Trip to sacred Turkestan. April 18 – International Day for the Preservation of Monuments and historic places

April 15-18 students of educational programs “Tourism”, “R&HB” and “Translation profeciency”, as well as students of the College of the University “Turan” made a trip to the sacred sites of the south. As part of the trip we visited the ancient settlement of Otyrar and the mausoleum of Arystan-bab. We saw the World Heritage site – the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmet Yassawi, located on the territory of the Azret Sultan Reserve-Museum. We strolled along the streets of the modern Karavanserai. Went down under the arches of the amazing Akmeshit Cave. Asked for blessings at Domalak Ana Mausoleum and were tested at the “Adam and Eve” rock.

On a route students have fixed available theoretical knowledge of tourist resources of Southern Kazakhstan and have seen the main symbols of region with the eyes. The trip was organized by the lecturers of the chair “Tourism and service” A.V. Velichko, M.A. Mussayev, Ә. J. Burkitbay.
